"Confusion 2" - Rich Kidd & dj NaNa

The concept was based off of the Dadaists Exquisite Corpse. We contacted several Designers and Visual Artists from Toronto, Canada and abroad (Spain, France, Italy) and gave them a lyric to interpret, with no clue what was before or after. For many of the international artists, english was their second language, which offered an extra layer of complexity and confusion in itself. There was no guide lines except the length of the lyric (in seconds and frames) and the dimensions of the footage or still. The video features the talented work of: Gillian Candidi, Alan Lukatela, Michael Tung, Matt Johnson, Joel Derksen, Alan Thatcher, Nick Fox, Kevin Voirin, Ebony Haynes, Marta Verde Baqueiro, Ken Murphy, Carlie Waksdale, Vishana Lodhia, Kfir Gluzberg, Liam Johnstone, Tanguy Barker, Dave Murphy, Jordan Clarke, Kate LaRue, and Ricardo Leite.
